Welcome to Motherhood #FirstTimeParent
Almost four months deep into motherhood I am wondering where the time has gone it feels like two minutes ago I was heavily pregnant day dreaming about meeting my baby, how painful labour would be and also what she would look like.? Well the hormones are FINALLY settled and I am out of the newborn fog….after having a social media/blogging break and devoting my full attention (life and soul) to bonding with my new little human, I am ready to share some of the journey so far… and what an adventure this whole new chapter has been #ParentHood #MummyDiaries The first three weeks are pretty much one big baby blur,…

Blush Boho inspired BabyShower
With the amount of messages I have received regarding LittleMissCannon’s Baby Shower (plus I am trying to kill time whilst waiting for the arrival) I thought I would create a blog post rather than keep replying to messages with details and links to the business’s and brands that brought my “Boho Baby Shower” vision to life. I will leave the links to everything at the bottom of this post and also keep it short and sweet as the pictures pretty much do the talking. Of course it was slightly EXTRA – in fact I am not sure how my wedding will top it, but since it’s my first baby and…

The third (trimester) and final hurdle #PregnancyDiary
So today we have been to the midwife to go through our birthing plan AND the baby is engaged in the right place ready for labour. YIKES this is getting very real now, so before I go into labour and forget to post this blog on my last chapter of pregnancy here it is…. Well the third trimester is in full swing and the due date is fast approaching. A matter of just four weeks to be exact unless she is anything like her mummy or daddy who both came early. But fingers crossed it’s after my baby shower and not before (or during). Full of mixed emotions, CRAZY hormones…

Pregnancy; My biggest adventure is loading #Motherhood
HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone, yes I am a little late to the party and this has been sitting in my drafts for a while now…BUT let’s blame the “baby brain” for my delay (I have been using this to my advantage lately and it seems to work for everything else). Who else is guilty of this and also will it ever go away or is this my IQ forever!? SOS! So as most of you probably know my latest and biggest news..I am pregnant! I thought it is only right that the first blog post of the year should be dedicated to my journey so far. I may have kept…

A slice of heaven in Crete – The Blue Palace Luxury Resort #Team Coco
After recently returning from the BEAUTIFUL Greek island of Mykonos with #TeamCoco (which FYI will feature in the next print issue of houseofCoco.net so make sure you download), it got me reminiscing about last years stay at The Blue Palace Resort and Spa in Crete. I have come to the conclusion that the Greek islands from Santorini, Rhodes, Mykonos are by far my favourite little European gems of all my travels, and the best holiday destinations (in my opinion) if you are looking for a piece of paradise without the repercussion of a long haul flight! Let me take you back to my visit to Crete on behalf of HouseofCoco.net…

Top 10 breakfast spots around the globe
I’m an absolute sucker for breakfast, it is definitely my favourite meal of the day. Waking up in the morning thinking about what’s first to eat gives me great pleasure and happiness (I am a fat person on the inside dying to get out). The only thing that can satisfy me even more than food is a great view or backdrop (when I say this out loud it makes me realise I am definitely getting old), but it’s right what they say…with age you start to appreciate the little things in life. So as I was tucking into my poached egg and salmon on toast, with a froffy coffee and…

Moments in Mauritius; Shangri-La’s Le Touessrok Resort and Spa
Moments in Mauritius…the purpose of this trip was to find an idyllic beach, switch off our phones for 10 days and eat gourmet cuisine washed down with Pina-Colada until our hearts content. And thanks to Shangri-La’s Le Touessrok resort that’s exactly what we did, this oriental palace offers everything that you could need in a personal paradise and you will never want to leave. We booked this holiday for May to celebrate my fiancè’s birthday unbeknown it is actually the beginning of their winter season in Mauritius, but don’t worry the winter here is hotter than our summer! I actually enjoyed the temperature been slightly cooler for once… It was…

Adventures in iceland; The Blue Lagoon: Golden circle.
How to make the most of 3 days in Iceland! Iceland, the name literally speaks for itself, It is a land of Ice (so wrap up warm) and a stunning one at that! A world of white in what looks like heaven and fluffy clouds, which is why you MUST visit in the winter.I must admit the reason for the trip was specifically to visit the Blue lagoon but there is a lot more beauty to be discovered and endless fun to be had. First and foremost you MUST get a car (I went with no intention of hiring a car so trust me on this one). Apart from the…

I returned feeling recharged and replenished after my escape to the Scottish countryside on behalf of HouseOfCoco!
