Top 10 breakfast spots around the globe
I’m an absolute sucker for breakfast, it is definitely my favourite meal of the day. Waking up in the morning thinking about what’s first to eat gives me great pleasure and happiness (I am a fat person on the inside dying to get out). The only thing that can satisfy me even more than food is a great view or backdrop (when I say this out loud it makes me realise I am definitely getting old), but it’s right what they say…with age you start to appreciate the little things in life. So as I was tucking into my poached egg and salmon on toast, with a froffy coffee and…

Italian road trip with #TeamCoco and Ford #LuxuryTravel
Life is about the journey not the destination, and that’s exactly why you need to experience a road trip through the unspoilt valleys of Italy. I recently returned from another #TeamCoco adventure with a fabulous group of 10 writers, exploring the true Italian culture and it was simply “Belissimo” ! House of Coco teamed up with Ford to test drive their new luxury Vignale range (pronounced Vig-Na-Ley), the pinnacle of the brand created by pioneers and visionary coach designers Alfredo and Giovanni Vignale, established by the brothers in 1948. We began the adventure in Turin (Torino in Italian), located north of Italy around 80 miles to the left of Milan. We had…

The Hydradermie Youth Facial: The Wishing Well Health & Beauty Spa
As I embark on the final year of my twenties (how did this happen) I have recently taken my skin care regime up a gear, that means no using baby wipes to remove my makeup EVER, even when I can’t be bothered and keeping up with regular facial treatments. My mission…to keep hold of my youthful skin for as long as physically possible, because prevention is better than the cure!! I love a good facial and was particularly in need of a deep cleansing treatment as I tend to suffer with deep pores especially around my nose area. When the lovely ladies at the Wishing Well Beauty invited me to…

Adventures in iceland; The Blue Lagoon: Golden circle.
How to make the most of 3 days in Iceland! Iceland, the name literally speaks for itself, It is a land of Ice (so wrap up warm) and a stunning one at that! A world of white in what looks like heaven and fluffy clouds, which is why you MUST visit in the winter.I must admit the reason for the trip was specifically to visit the Blue lagoon but there is a lot more beauty to be discovered and endless fun to be had. First and foremost you MUST get a car (I went with no intention of hiring a car so trust me on this one). Apart from the…

Hollywood Colour Blend #HairMakeover
“The HOLLYWOOD Colour Blend” it sounds very appealing doesn’t it!? I have known about this new innovative colour technique through Chinese whispers and recommendations for a while now! The creator Catherine Boden has become somewhat of a social media sensation. But I must be completely honest, I did wonder why people would spend so much money and so much time in a salon to simply get a colour, is it really worth it? I recently updated my all dark locks with a few subtle lighter blonde bits through the bottom which I have enjoyed for a change. I had come to the acceptance my hair is dry and brittle and…

Summer in Switzerland with House of Coco; Alpine Adventure.
When I was told my first House Of Coco trip would be to the Grand Hotel Kronenhof in Switzerland up in the Engadine Valley my heart literally skipped a beat, I had wanted to tick this off the list for a long time and a 5 star luxurious hotel in Pontresina was certainly the way to do it in style. HOWEVER when I read the brief “Alpine Adventure” slight anxiety crept in. I mean I am always up for a challenge but the fact that I don’t own a pair of walking shoes, haven’t stepped on a mountain bike (since I was 12) and that two hot yoga classes a week is…

Amsterdamaged! That’s exactly how I feel after this weekend, one thing is for sure…there is NEVER a dull moment in that city…laughs a minute…plenty of fruitful characters..every transport possible and about 5 hours sleep in total-YEP hair was let fully down thats all I can say. We decided to go for a long weekend to see the Chris Brown concert expecting the rest of the weekend would be chilled….that didn’t quite happen(obviously). I would normally share with you step by step where we went/what we did in order but parts are pretty blurry and I need to get packed for Barcelona this weekend so below are my recommendations- Pata Negro…

5 nights in India-Goa-Anjuna; DoubleTree Hilton-Ashiyana Yoga Retreat.
INDIA…..this was my second time visiting Goa, I went back in 2012 for a family trip so I wasn’t really aware of the nightlife, until this time round-I would say I was awake more nights than days! But still we managed to squeeze in some yoga…good food..& beautiful beaches. A couple of our friends are living out there so we practically had our very own tour guide on call 24/7 taking us to all the hot spots!….here is my fun filled 5 nights in the rustic magical hustle & bustle of Goa. We decided to stop off in Goa for 5 nights before heading to the Maldives-I love the fact…

Maldives;BucketList,My photo diary.
So I know this post is a bit late, I had all intentions of getting it done as soon as I returned but here I am 2 months later (ooops). Anyway I didn’t want to rush this post and I have been waiting for the right moment to sit back and reflect on what can only be described as the ULTIMATE dream holiday…before I begin just a pre-warning its a LONG one, I just took way too many pictures but you can’t blame me right!? Let me rewind…April…(if only I could really rewind that would be ideal). We started off our 2 week adventure in India (see the last blog…

36 hours in AMSTERDAM: Food, coffee, best places to visit.
Amster-DAMN..The city that comes alive at midday, where prostitution & cannabis are legal (kinda), tall town houses with amazing architecture, quirky back streets overlooking canals, bikes (everywhere), cheese overload, pancake parlours, coffee shops, museums, bars, shops and FOOD FOOD FOOD! Here is a brief run down of my first time in this vibrant place. (Well including the delay on the way home it would be 40 hours) But lets not focus on that – nothing a bit of duty free shopping and more calorific food couldn’t make up for. Lets start from the top, I have NEVER been on a flight so quick! We had a 7.30am flight on Sunday…
