Chris Brown,One Hell Of A Night Tour,Amsterdam;City break;Summer;Photo Diary.

Amsterdamaged! That’s exactly how I feel after this weekend, one thing is for sure…there is NEVER a dull moment in that city…laughs a minute…plenty of fruitful characters..every transport possible and about 5 hours sleep in total-YEP hair was let fully down thats all I can say. We decided to go for a long weekend to see the Chris Brown concert expecting the rest of the weekend would be chilled….that didn’t quite happen(obviously).
I would normally share with you step by step where we went/what we did in order but parts are pretty blurry and I need to get packed for Barcelona this weekend so below are my recommendations-

Pata Negro – Tapas & Sangriaaaa….I would have probably walked past this place if I am honest(don’t judge a book by it’s cover) as it didn’t look very inviting but the food and underground Spanish vibe was AMAZING,we bumped into a local that evening who had told us to go here!

Cafe De Duivel – A cool little hip hop/ reggae bar open until 4 am (one to two drinks turned into lots of drinks, which is why I have no pictures of this place- sorry!)

Cafe Basjoes – We spent Sunday day afternoon sat outside with a lovely riverview, good vibes, friendly staff and the Rainbow cake is a must!

Greenwoods Cafe – My second visit here, it is an absolute MUST for breakfast! There is 2 of these in Amsterdam central so make sure you google maps the nearest and hit it up for the best organic food in town!

And of course…..the Chris Brown Concert at the Ziggo Dome! He is such a ROCKSTAR! I always knew he was talented and love his music but after watching him live I am now a SUPER fan(seriously) his energy on stage is contagious!!We got tickets for the official after party at Club Blu, obviously expecting it to be round the corner from the concert!!?? That’s what you would of thought from an events manager point of view right?! NOPE….get ready….45 MILES AWAY from Amsterdam to Rotterdam!!! It was a complete MISSION to get there early hours in the morning..taxi…tram…train…taxi & repeat(now that’s what you call dedication!) but I am sooooo glad we made it…100 percent worth it we could practically smell him we got that close, plus the travelling was pretty hilarious especially the walk of shame getting home at 8.15am followed by an 11am alarm set to check out of the room!

A fun filled weekend was just what I needed to kick off my birthday month…and this is only the start(I can feel a month long hangover in the distance just to recover) oh well….YOLO!
